All changes and improvements to JWT Inspector, newest first. Each entry shows the version, the deployment date and time, and whether it is a new feature or a fix.
Mobile update: the app now adapts properly to phone screens. Form fields use a 16 px font on small screens, so mobile browsers no longer zoom in when you tap a field, buttons get a larger touch area, and wide grids, tables and long addresses wrap instead of running off the page. The donate button moves to the middle of the left edge so it no longer covers the footer links. The app also leaves beta: from version 1.0 the beta badge is gone.
First beta release of JWT Inspector. Paste a JSON Web Token and the tool splits it into its three colour-coded parts — header, payload and signature — and decodes the JSON inside the first two. You see the header fields, every claim with a plain-language explanation, the token lifetime (issued at, not before and expiry, plus age and remaining time), and a Microsoft Entra ID / Azure card that extracts the tenant, application and object IDs when the token looks like one. Security warnings flag an expired token, a missing or unsecured signature, alg "none", a very long lifetime, missing audience or issuer and more. The signature can be verified in the browser against a shared secret or a public key, and the payload JSON can be copied, prettified, minified and downloaded. A summary card rates the token, a search box filters claims, and the full result can be exported as Markdown, JSON or PDF. Everything is decoded locally — the token is never uploaded or stored. Available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
